Here at Joyful Life Wellness (formerly Food Loyal), I work with women from all different stages of life to create balance and fulfillment in ways that are enjoyable and guilt-free. There are a ton of different ways to “get healthy” and you’ve probably tried a handful of them or more. What I do differently is help you effectively reach your personal health goals in ways that are actually fun and totally satisfying!

As a Health Coach, I work with you on nutrition and lifestyle choices that promote long lasting and positive change in your health. I will also help you discover a more energized and passionate life, exploring tools you need for a lifetime of balance. It’s not all about eating kale or broccoli, I promise. You’ll set and accomplish goals, explore new foods, reduce cravings, increase your energy, and improve personal relationships.

No one diet works for everyone.

The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own nutritional needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run. I look at your age, health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate and personal preferences to determine your dietary needs.

Together, we will set realistic goals & I will help you take consistent action steps towards accomplishing them. Some examples include:

  • understanding cravings and dealing with them in a positive manner
  • enjoying and simplifying the art of cooking
  • planning simple, healthy yet delicious menus
  • learning how to eat mindfully
  • making simple lifestyle changes to reduce stress
  • listening to your body
  • getting support from others
  • creating lasting balance in your life
  • and checking in on all aspects of your life to find balance for your “primary foods”– such as relationships, careers, and spirituality.

Everything is food

Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. Food changes everything. As your daily diet changes, your body changes and your happiness improves.
